Carr Landscape Management was honored by the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) during their Statewide Trophy Awards Ceremony held at the Opryland Resort in Nashville, TN. The Outstanding Achievement Award in the Small Residential category was awarded to Carr for their work at the Turner Residence in Venice Beach, California. This category, sponsored by the Rain Bird Corporation, was open to landscape installations within California for a single family residence with total landscape costs of less than $100,000. The project was designed by renowned British Landscape Designer and TV Host, Matt James for the HGTV program, Urban Outsiders. Earlier in the year, Carr Landscape won a first place award for the Turner project in the beautification awards program held locally by the San Fernando Valley Chapter of CLCA. |

| HGTV'S URBAN OUTSIDERS
Last year HGTV debuted a new program called Urban Outsiders. The show is hosted by noted British Garden Designer, Matt James. Carr Landscape Management, and its founder Chuck Carr, were hired by Matt and the England based production company (Two Four Productions) to build a total of thirteen gardens to be featured on Urban Outsiders. The program is currently on hiatus and will return later in the year on HGTV. Carr and his crews are long time HGTV veterans having made several appearances on "Landscapers Challenge", "Ground Rules" and "Designing for the Sexes". In addition, the company was featured in an episode of "Movie and a Makeover" on TBS Superstation.
